North Lebanon First Investigative Judge Samaranda Nassar has requested the death penalty against the maternal uncle of 8-year-old Lynn Taleb, her mother, and maternal grandparents.
Taleb died in early July following repeated rapes during a stay with her grandparents.
On Thursday, the examining magistrate issued the indictment in which she qualified the act perpetrated by the uncle (the rape) as an offense to which articles 503 and 504 of the Penal Code apply.
The mother and grandparents were accused of complicity and misleading the investigation.
