In recent developments concerning the mistreatment of children at the Garderêve daycare, Judge Rania Yahfoufi issued an arrest warrant against the employee responsible for taking the leaked videos.
During the hearing, it became apparent that the videos leaked on July 10th were shot 6 months ago.
It is important to note that Yahfoufi had also previously issued arrest warrants against the owner of the facility and the employee who abused the children. Additionally, Joelle Abou Haidar, the sole criminal judge responsible for cases involving minors in Mount Lebanon, had also ordered the closure of the Garderêve daycare located in Jdeideh.
This decision was made in response to a widely shared social media video depicting abusive treatment of children at the daycare. The aforementioned video showed two daycare personnel physically assaulting and forcibly feeding young children.
