The National Social Security Fund (CNSS) has approved a new financial advance of 45 billion Lebanese pounds for contracted hospitals. It aims to cover fixed-rate surgical procedures. The funds will be transferred to healthcare institutions and doctors in the coming days, as part of the CNSS’s policy of maintaining regular payments.

CNSS Director General Mohammad Karaki urged hospitals to speed up the submission of medical files and supporting documents to ensure timely processing.

This initiative is part of the CNSS’s ongoing efforts to sustain healthcare services and support the hospital sector amid Lebanon’s enduring economic crisis.

Since the beginning of 2025, the CNSS has disbursed nearly 2.488 trillion LBP, including 1.352 trillion for fixed-rate surgeries, 597 billion for dialysis treatments, and 539 billion for other medical services such as consultations and medications.
