Free Patriotic Movement MP Alain Aoun expressed that Jihad Azour’s candidacy “was an attempt that did not achieve the required aspirations” and mentioned, “We are looking for another candidate.”
In an interview with the LBCI on Sunday, he affirmed the existence of “a complete plan linked to the next stage in order to get Lebanon out of the presidential impasse.”
“Lebanon is in a vacuum with no way out, and we will certainly face new vacancies at the level of various institutions without knowing if they will end any time soon,” lamented the MP.
