After the hearing held on Tuesday regarding the mistreatment of children at the Garderêve daycare, Judge Rania Yahfoufi issued arrest warrants against the owner of the facility and the employee who abused the children.
It is important to note that on July 10th, Joelle Abou Haidar, the sole criminal judge responsible for cases involving minors in Mount Lebanon, ordered the closure of the Garderêve daycare located in Jdeideh.
This decision came after a widely shared video on social media depicted the abusive treatment of children at the daycare. The aforementioned video showed two daycare employees physically assaulting young children and forcefully feeding them.
