According to a report by Al-Nahar, the Lebanese security forces and military intelligence have once again foiled an illegal emigration operation, this time taking place through Al-Abdeh – Akkar beach. While the exact number of detainees remains undisclosed, an official statement from the authorities is expected to be released soon.
Of note, the security forces beefed up their presence along the Akkar coastline during the night.
