The fire that broke out in downtown Beirut’s Zuqaq al-Blat on Tuesday morning was successfully controlled within a few hours.
With the support of the Beirut fire brigade, members of the civil defense managed to contain the fire, which originated from the explosion of an electrical generator and spread to reach two Diesel containers, six cars, three apartments and a shop in Zuqaq al-Blat.
The incident resulted in material damage, without any reported injuries.
