Beirut Metropolitan Elias Audi asked Sunday, “What’s holding up the presidential elections if intentions are good and claims sincere?”

“Don’t we need to have a president with a clear vision to save what’s left of this country? Doesn’t the presence of a president and a responsible Cabinet prevent hasty and sometimes offensive decisions from being made, especially if they affect the education sector which has regressed in recent years, and which needs radical reform and judicial decisions?” Audi elaborated in his sermon.

The Cabinet decided at its last meeting to cancel the Lebanese brevet exams for this year.
