Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Walid al-Bukhari threw a dinner banquet dubbed “Sustainable Diplomacy,” which was attended by several Arabic and Islamic diplomatic envoys, including Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Mojtaba Amani and Syrian Chargé d’Affaires Ali Doghman, amid expectations of discussing the Lebanese presidential dossier.

Among the attendees was Lebanese caretaker Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib who thanked Bukhari for his invitation, which he said   reflects “the value that the ambassador holds for both Lebanon and the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.”

“Lebanon’s relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on all levels are deeply rooted both diplomatically and between their two peoples,” Bou Habib said.

“Renowned Lebanese author and poet Amine al-Rihani said it best when describing the founder of the Kingdom, his late Royal Highness King Abdul-Aziz bin Saud, that he was a man with a big heart, pride, and conscience; an Arab in whom all the virtues were embodied,” Bou Habib added.
