The European Parliament’s Delegation for relations with the Levant countries will be conducting an official visit to Lebanon from June 19 to 23.
The Delegation will be led by Chair Isabel Santos, accompanied by six members of four political groups.
The primary purpose of the official visit is to hold the 16th EU-Lebanon Inter-parliamentary meeting with their Lebanese counterparts. In addition, meetings will be held with key members of the Lebanese executive branch, and with representatives of civil society.
The itinerary will include visits to EU-funded projects, as well as field visits to UNRWA Palestinian refugee camps, and to UNWFP Syrian Refugees informal tented settlements.
On Thursday, June 22,  at the end of its mission, the delegation will hold a press conference.
