According to information reported by the Lebanese media, the Lebanese army’s intelligence services succeeded in arresting J. Jaafar, the mastermind behind the kidnapping of Saudi citizen Mashari al-Mutairi last Sunday, during a meticulously planned operation on the Baalbek international highway.
The suspect was spotted in an all-terrain vehicle and opened fire on the army intelligence patrol, wounding a civilian named K. Abu Shaaya and a Lebanese soldier.
