The Lebanese Army Orientation Directorate made an announcement on Monday regarding the apprehension of 22 Syrians in Abdeh, Akkar, located in North Lebanon. These individuals were caught in the act of preparing for illegal immigration by sea. In a subsequent statement on Tuesday, the army reported the arrest of a key individual, identified as A. Kh., who was involved in human trafficking operations in the region.

Following these arrests, an investigation has been initiated, and ongoing efforts are underway to apprehend any other accomplices involved in the operation.
