Israeli bombardments and Hezbollah’s attacks resumed in southern Lebanon on Friday, after an intense night.

The Israeli army bombarded, early in the morning, the areas around Naqoura and Alma al-Shaab, the Majidiyeh and Salamiyeh plains, as well as Helta, Kfarchouba, Kfar Hamam, the Shebaa farms and Arkoub.

Meanwhile, the Israeli surveillance planes flew at low altitude over the eastern sector of South Lebanon, extending as far as the western Bekaa and Iqlim al-Touffah, in particular over the Aramta and Al-Mahmoudiyeh hills. Israeli aircraft also carried out strikes on the outskirts of Chihin and Dhayra.

Moreover, Israeli bombardments hit the vicinity of the villages of Yarine, Lejbin and Wadi al-Mozlem, between Ramya and Bayt Lif, Abdel Nabi area in Mays al-Jabal, and the outskirts of Markaba, Rab Tlatin and Aytaroun.

On the other hand, Hezbollah claimed responsibility on Friday for “attacks on gatherings of Israeli soldiers, at around 10:30 AM, near Al-Tayhat and the Ramim barracks (in the occupied Lebanese village of Hounin), scoring direct hits.”

Hezbollah’s media office published a video showing “attacks targeting an Israeli Merkava tank in the vicinity of the Branit barracks near the Lebanese border.” Another video showed Hezbollah fighters “targeting several Israeli army positions on the Lebanese border, on November 16, inflicting damage.”

A guided missile was also fired at the Arab al-Aramcha settlement and the al-Jardah post, opposite Alma al-Shaab and Dhayra in the western sector.

On Thursday night, Israeli strikes targeted the area around the villages of Aita al-Shaab and Ramya.

Israeli heavy artillery bombardments also targeted the outskirts of Khiam, Bourj al-Mlouk, Marjayoun, Tallet Hamamess and Tall Nahas, between midnight and 4 AM. Flares were dropped on the plain of Marjayoun and Hamames.
