Caretaker Minister of Finance Youssef Khalil announced on Tuesday a decision to extend payment deadlines for certain taxes to spare taxpayers from incurring late payment fines.
The deadline for filing the annual income tax return, salaries and wages (R5), individual annual statements (R6), and the annual global statement (R7) for the years 2022 and 2023 has been extended to March 28, 2024.
The deadline for filing tax stamp declarations for the fourth quarter of 2023 for institutions subject to this periodic payment (public institutions, municipalities, public utility water projects, insurance organizations, and concession companies), and the payment of this tax, has been extended to March 15, 2024.
