The Ministry of Finance’s press office announced in a press release issued on Tuesday that caretaker Finance Minister Youssef el-Khalil will be unable to attend the sessions dedicated to the discussion of the draft budget for the fiscal year 2024 on Wednesday and Thursday, due to health reasons “following surgery.”
He has informed the caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, to “designate the person of his choice to read his speech.”
