The World Bank (WB) will provide additional financing for the ‘Aman’ program, which is part of the social protection network financed by the WB, in the form of a soft loan of $300 million in response to the emergency crisis in Lebanon.
On Tuesday, Youssef Khalil received a letter from the Banque du Liban (BDL) regarding the payment mechanism set up by the Caretaker Minister of Social Affairs, Hector Hajjar.
The Minister handed over the document to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
