A meeting was held at the Port of Beirut Friday morning to discuss necessary precautions in the event of conflict. All departments operating at the port took part, as did representatives of the Customs Authority and the Presidency of the Port of Beirut.
Participants reviewed evacuation plans for administrative buildings as well as pre-approved emergency procedures. They also established the cooperation and integration frameworks needed to ensure the safety of people and goods in and around the Port.
