Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transport Ali Hamieh announced on his X account on Thursday, October 5, that a call for public tenders for the investment and operation of the Beirut International Airport parking lots will be launched during the month of October.

“These calls for tender are part of the measures taken to optimize the investments of the facilities affiliated with the airport,” the text read.

Hamieh also pointed out that the tender would be open to all parties meeting the specified conditions in accordance with the provisions outlined in the Public Procurement Law.

On another note, he said that maintenance work on some of Marjayoun’s roads had begun thanks to a loan provided by the World Bank.
