A former minister close to the Syrian regime has revealed that Iran recently decided to reduce the number of its experts in Syria from 1,700 to less than two hundred, without divulging the reasons behind this decision.
Sources have also indicated that, despite their alliance, relations between Syria and Iran are neither healthy nor stable and are strained by events in the region, which also have a direct impact on the relationship between Hezbollah and Syria.
