For the first time since clashes between Israel and Hezbollah erupted following the killing of former Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Israeli forces carried out strikes in Burj Hammoud in the Metn District.

At dawn on Friday, Israeli aircraft launched an airstrike on an apartment in the Nabaa–Burj Hammoud area near the Mirna Shalouhi Center on Shuwaytar Street, killing one person.

Shortly after the strike, newly appointed Israeli army spokeswoman Lt. Col. Ella Wawiya announced on X that a Hezbollah member in Beirut had been targeted. According to media reports, the operation was carried out by an Israeli drone that struck the fourth floor of the apartment.

Southern Suburbs

Israeli raids also resumed in the southern suburbs of Beirut. Fighter jets struck Hadath and carried out another strike on the Sayyed Hadi highway near the Tayyouneh area.

Airport Road

On the road leading to Beirut International Airport (BIA), an Israeli drone targeted a parked car in the Al-Janah area of Beirut.

Local media reported that one person was killed in the strike, though the identity of the target has not yet been confirmed.

South Lebanon

In southern Lebanon, Israeli aircraft carried out a major strike on the Zararia bridge over the Litani River.

The Israeli army’s Arabic spokesman Avichay Adraee said the bridge served as a central passage used by Hezbollah members moving from northern to southern Lebanon “where they would station themselves and prepare for combat.”

He stated that the strike aimed to eliminate a threat to Israel, adding that Hezbollah’s use of the bridge “endangers Lebanese civilians and causes widespread destruction to the civilian environment.” He also stated rocket launchers had recently been deployed near the bridge to fire rockets toward Israel. Moreover, two persons were killed in an Israeli drone attack in the town of Shebaa.

Israeli aircraft also struck Al-Fawwar in southern Lebanon.

From midnight until early Friday morning, a series of intense airstrikes hit multiple towns and roads in the Nabatieh District and surrounding areas.

According to reports, the raids targeted the towns of Ansar, Qaqia al-Sunbur, al-Qaliya, Aba, and al-Duwair, with casualties reported in al-Qaliya and Aba. An ambulance was also struck by an Israeli raid on the Tairfalsieh bridge at dawn, causing material damage.

Morning raids further hit the heights of al-Rayhan, Jibshit, al-Qusaybah, the Shukkin–Mifdon public road, Zararia, Srifa (Niha area), and Sair al-Gharbia and Shiyara in Shaitiya, leaving one person dead and another wounded. Additional strikes were reported between Sadiqin and Ramadiya, near the Tairfalsieh bridge, and on the outskirts of the town of Shabaa in the Al-Bayader area.

Since the early hours of the morning, the sounds of shelling and missiles have been heard near the border towns of Naqoura, Alma al-Shaab, Ramieh, and Qouzuh, where intermittent clashes between Israeli forces and Hezbollah fighters continue. Sirens from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon have also been heard in the area.

Beqaa

Likewise in the Beqaa Valley, Israeli aircraft struck an apartment in the town of Bar Elias in the central Bekaa, reportedly targeting Yusuf al-Dahouk, an official in the Islamic Group.

The strike killed his two sons, Abdul Rahman and Musab, and critically wounded three others, including al-Dahouk.

Israeli aircraft also carried out a raid on the Badina neighborhood in Hermel in northern Bekaa.
