A wave of strikes carried out between February 28 and March 12, 2026, targeted dozens of military, governmental, and logistical sites across Iran, according to information circulating in regional media reports. The attacks focused on infrastructure linked to Iran’s nuclear and missile programs, as well as political command centers, military bases, and strategic supply facilities.
The strikes affected several regions of the country, from major nuclear facilities to command centers in the capital.
Nuclear and Missile Infrastructure
Among the most prominent targets was the Natanz Nuclear Facility, one of Iran’s most important uranium enrichment complexes located in Isfahan province.
Reports also indicated that the Parchin Military Complex, southeast of Tehran, was struck. The site is widely associated with missile production and military research.
Another facility reportedly targeted was the Shahrud Missile Complex, believed to be involved in the development of solid-fuel ballistic missiles.
In addition, strikes reportedly hit underground missile infrastructure in Isfahan province, as well as ballistic missile launch sites located outside the city of Qom, suggesting a broader attempt to degrade Iran’s missile capabilities.
Political and Military Command Centers
In Tehran, several key political and military facilities were reportedly targeted.
These included the central headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, as well as offices linked to the Supreme Leader and the presidential administration.
Other reported targets in the capital included the judiciary complex and the National Defense University of Iran, which serves as a center for military and strategic research.
Media and Internal Security Facilities
The campaign also reportedly struck state media infrastructure. The headquarters of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting in Tehran’s Jam Jam district was among the facilities affected, along with associated communications towers.
Police facilities and bases belonging to the Basij were also reportedly targeted in multiple districts of the capital. Additional strikes were reported against an internal security center in Isfahan.
Air, Land and Naval Bases
Military installations across several provinces were also affected. These included the Vahdati Air Base in southwestern Iran and the 92nd Armored Division of the Iranian army located north of Ahvaz.
Additional targets reportedly included a Revolutionary Guard command center near Andimeshk, as well as the Imam Ali military base in Chabahar.
Along Iran’s southern coastline, strikes reportedly hit naval infrastructure in Konarak, where a warship, logistical warehouses and aircraft shelters were reportedly damaged.
Other coastal targets included military facilities in Bandar Abbas and Revolutionary Guard positions in Bandar Lengeh.
Energy and Military Supply Infrastructure
Strikes also reportedly targeted fuel and energy infrastructure used to support military operations.
Fuel tanks in Tehran’s Shahran district were reportedly hit, along with oil storage facilities in the Aghdasieh and Kuhak neighborhoods in the northern part of the capital. A fuel storage site in Fardis was also reported to have been struck.
Elsewhere, attacks were reported on military facilities in Rasht and Rezvanshahr in northern Iran, as well as an army ammunition depot in Ajab Shir.
Five Main Categories of Targets
According to compiled reports, the campaign focused on five primary categories of targets: the nuclear and missile program infrastructure, the political and military command centers, the internal security forces and Basij units, the air and naval bases, and the energy and fuel logistics supporting military operations.
The geographic distribution of the strikes shows the heaviest concentration in Tehran, Isfahan, Ahvaz, and Iran’s southern coastline, along with several locations in northern provinces, suggesting a broad effort aimed at Iran’s strategic and military infrastructure.
