3. Senior White House Official to TIB: U.S. Reaffirms Support for Israel Against Hezbollah

In an exclusive briefing, a senior White House official told TIB that the United States fully supports Israel’s right to defend itself against Hezbollah and other Iranian-backed forces threatening its territory.

“While Israel is leading the current operations against Hezbollah positions in Lebanon, the United States remains prepared to provide the support necessary to ensure Israel’s security and protect American forces in the region,” the official said.

The official emphasized that Washington’s military focus remains on degrading Iran’s ability to direct and arm proxy attacks across the Middle East. “We are not seeking a wider war in Lebanon, but Hezbollah should understand clearly that continued aggression will bring decisive consequences,” the source added.

The official concluded that the United States “will act, alongside our allies if necessary, to protect regional stability and defend our interests,” underscoring the administration’s commitment to both Israel’s security and broader regional stability.
