3. Operation Epic Fury: Over 1000 Iranian Targets Struck

On Sunday, the U.S. Central Command announced that its ongoing operations are targeting more than 1000 sites across Iran in “Operation Epic Fury.”

The types of targets singled out in these strikes range incorporate various assets linked to Iran’s defensive and offensive capabilities.

Among those listed are integrated air defense systems, IRGC aerospace forces headquarters, IRGC joint headquarters, military communications systems, and known Iranian command and control centers. 

U.S. strikes are also targeting offensive military assets including ballistic missile launching sites, Iranian navy ships and submarines, and anti-ship missile sites. 

President Donald Trump has announced that the U.S. military is sinking Iran’s navy, destroying nine Iranian warships and “going after the rest.”

The U.S. reportedly used B2 stealth bombers with 2,000 pound bombs to target hardened underground ballistic missile facilities over the course of the attacks. The U.S. also utilizes HIMARS and Tomahawk cruise missiles and drones to strike sites across Iran.
