Israeli Airstrikes Hit Hezbollah Targets in Bekaa Valley

Israel carried out airstrikes on sites linked to Hezbollah in the Bekaa Valley near Baalbek on Thursday, according to the IDF’s spokesperson for Arabic media Ella Wayewa.

“The IDF is currently attacking terrorist infrastructure belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist group's Radwan Force unit in the Baalbek area of ​​Lebanon,” Wayewa said on X during Israel’s operations.

Attacks have taken place near the towns of Chmestar, Boudai, Harbata, and Tariya on the outskirts of Baalbek.

According to the Israeli Army, 8 arms depots linked to Hezbollah were targeted where “numerous weapons were stored, including firearms and rockets belonging to Hezbollah,” and cited violations in the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel.

“The terrorists’ activities at these compounds and Hezbollah’s attempts to rearm constitute a violation of the ceasefire understandings between Israel and Lebanon, and pose a threat to the State of Israel,” the Israeli Army announced in a statement.

According to the Lebanese Health Ministry, 2 people were killed and 29 were injured.
