One person was killed on Friday in an Israeli airstrike targeting a car in the town of Siddiqine, in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon. Following the raid, the Israeli army declared that it had eliminated a Hezbollah member.

Earlier Friday, the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) deployed patrols in the border town of Yaroun after Israeli troops reportedly entered the area. The incident added to a series of security developments along the southern border.

Separately, an Israeli drone reportedly crashed in the southern town of Rab Thalathin. Other drone activity was also reported across the region, with Israeli drones dropping sound bombs in the southern town of Khiam and on the outskirts of Aita al-Shaab.

In another incident, the Israeli army fired a flare from Bayad Blida, a military site near the Israel-Lebanon border, toward the outskirts of the town of Maroun al-Ras.
