Mobile operator Touch announced on Friday a major technical migration of its customer base to a new operational system, scheduled overnight from Sunday, October 5, to Monday, October 6, 2025. The upgrade, carried out with the support of Nokia and Huawei, may cause a temporary interruption of certain services.

Touch stated in a press release that the migration will move all customers to the new operational system as part of its main switching network (CS Core Network) update. The operation is technically complex and will be handled by Touch teams with assistance from Nokia and Huawei experts.

The transfer will begin at 1 AM and is expected to last about an hour, with potential service interruptions of around 30 minutes. Additionally, all customer services and subscriptions will be suspended from Sunday at 3 PM until 5 AM on Monday. Data subscriptions will be successfully activated on the user side but will only become fully functional starting at 5 AM. This also applies to any additional or optional services.

Touch emphasized that it has prepared comprehensive tests and precautionary measures, ensuring the full presence of all technical teams and experts from Nokia and Huawei to guarantee a secure and controlled migration.
