Gaza: Israeli Strike Targets Hamas' Abou Obeida, according to the Israeli media

The Israeli military has targeted a building in Gaza where Abu Obeida, spokesperson for Hamas' Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, was reportedly located, Israeli media announced on Saturday evening.
The military confirmed the attack but did not disclose its target and did not clarify whether its was killed or survived.

According to media reports, Abu Obeida is believed to have been killed.
"The Israeli army and Shin Bet recently targeted a senior Hamas terrorist in Gaza City, in the northern part of the enclave, with an airstrike, under the direction of military intelligence," stated the army's Arabic-language spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, on his X account.
"Before the attack, several measures were taken to reduce the likelihood of civilian casualties, including the use of precision munitions, aerial surveillance, and other intelligence," he added.

Hamas did not comment on the strike, but issued a warning against “rumors” circulating about the killing of Abu Obeida.
