Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Mojtaba Amani announced Tuesday that Ali Larijani, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, is set to arrive in Beirut “within a few hours” for a visit he described as taking place at “a decisive stage in Lebanon’s history.”
In a post on X, Amani stated that Larijani will meet with senior Lebanese officials and a select group of political and intellectual figures for “candid discussions” to present Iran’s viewpoints and vision.
He said the outcome of these talks would “serve the interests, security and stability of both countries.”
