3. Gaza Rescuers say Death toll From Israeli Fire Rises to 56

Gaza's civil defense agency said Israeli forces killed 56 people in the war-ravaged Palestinian territory on Thursday, updating a previous toll of 35.

Civil defense spokesman Mahmud Bassal told AFP that 56 people were killed by Israeli fire across Gaza, including six who were waiting for aid in two separate locations.
