In anticipation of the 2025 SelectUSA Investment Summit, United States Ambassador to Lebanon Lisa Johnson hosted a reception at her residence on Wednesday to honor the Lebanese delegation participating in the event.
The summit, scheduled for May 11-14 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland, is the premier US event dedicated to promoting foreign direct investment (FDI).
Organized by the US Department of Commerce, the SelectUSA Investment Summit connects international investors with US economic development organizations (EDOs), industry experts and government officials to facilitate business investment in the US.
The Lebanese delegation comprises investors from various sectors, including Information & Communication Technology, Business & Professional Services, Energy, Financial Services, Food & Beverage, Design & Construction and Equipment & Machinery.
Ambassador Johnson expressed her gratitude to the delegation members for their participation, emphasizing the significance of US-Lebanese business and economic ties.
