On a tour of Tripoli, Salam began his visit at Tripoli's Olympic Stadium, where he arrived on board a military helicopter. Speaking at the Serail, the Prime Minister highlighted the urgent need to rebuild public trust in state institutions. “We are here to reaffirm our commitment to ensuring the security of Tripoli and its residents. The chaos of recent years cannot continue. We are working in full coordination with security services to establish lasting stability,” he stated.
He also stressed that the government would not tolerate any breach of public security, pointing out that the reinforcement of security measures remains an absolute priority. “Cooperation between all security agents is the key to effectively combating instability and preserving civil peace,” he added.
As part of the visit, a major security detail was deployed across the city. Reinforced patrols and checkpoints were set up at Tripoli's main entrances and thoroughfares, demonstrating the government's determination to act firmly in the face of security threats.
