Ogero, the state-owned telecom provider in Lebanon, attributed internet disruption to issues with the global network accessed through an external service provider, Century Link (Level 3).
The company disclosed on Wednesday, in a statement on its official X account, the reason behind the recent internet slowdown that some users have been experiencing.
“Slowdown and access issues have been observed on the global network through the external service provider, affecting a portion of subscribers,” Ogero stated.
To resolve the issue, Ogero’s technical teams are actively working to reroute internet access through an alternative service provider. The company assured subscribers that the service would be gradually restored to normal for all users.
