Since Saturday morning, a new fire has been breaking out in the forests of Brih in the Chouf district.
Residents in the area panicked as they were afraid that the fire would approach their homes. They urged the Lebanese Army to "send a helicopter as soon as possible to control it."
According to local channel MTV, this fire is "indeed spreading and getting closer to the houses." For now, it has not yet been brought under control.
Shortly before noon, another fire broke out in the Khaldeh area, not far from Beirut Airport.
