In a statement via X (formerly Twitter), Avichay Adraee, the Arabic spokesperson for the Israeli army, issued an urgent warning to residents of Baalbek, Ain Bourday, and Douris. He stated: “You are in a combat zone where the Israeli army intends to attack and target Hezbollah's infrastructure, interests, facilities, and means of warfare. We do not intend to harm you. However, remaining in the Red Zone puts you and your family members at risk.”

Adraee urged residents to evacuate immediately. This is the second time in as many days that Israel has issued an evacuation warning for that area. On Thursday, following the order, Israel proceeded to extensively target the above mentioned areas.

South Lebanon

In an escalation of hostilities, a paramedic was killed, and two others were wounded in an Israeli raid on an ambulance in Zifta.

The Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health confirmed on Thursday that the Al-Risala Health Ambulance Association vehicle was destroyed in the incident.

This tragic event raises the total number of paramedic fatalities to 173 since the onset of aggression, with injuries reported for 277 individuals and 243 vehicles targeted.

The Ministry of Public Health strongly condemned the ongoing attacks against medical personnel. It reiterated its call for the international community to intervene and halt these acts, which it characterizes as war crimes.

Significant displacement was reported from the Al-Rashidiyeh camp in Tyre following threats issued to residents by Israeli forces. Many inhabitants are fleeing the camp and surrounding southern villages in response to these warnings.

The Israeli army has also conducted a firebelt operation in Sahmar, West Bekaa, and demolished a house in Aita al-Shaab.

Israeli media indicate that a Hezbollah rocket attack on the Metula settlement resulted in critically wounding one person  and seriously injuring four others.

Syrian Border

Syrian state media said Israeli strikes hit the town of Qusayr near the Lebanese border on Thursday, the latest in a series of raids in the area.

"An Israeli aggression targeted the Qusayr area in the southern Homs countryside," causing "material damage to the industrial city and some residential neighbourhoods," the official SANA news agency said.
