130 Prisoners Apprehended Out of 133 Who Escaped from Jezzine Prison
Over 130 prisoners from Jezzine Prison managed to escape on Sunday afternoon. Security forces, in cooperation with the residents of Jezzine, have since apprehended 130 of the 133 inmates who fled.

The Internal Security Forces (ISF) are currently pursuing the remaining three escapees. According to the National News Agency, two inmates were injured during the operation.

Security forces and intelligence officers from Saida have assisted the ISF in the manhunt.

Calls have spread on social media urging residents of the area to remain indoors for their safety, as the fugitives are reportedly terrorizing passersby and firing shots.
