On the fourth anniversary of the Beirut port explosion, Pope Francis called for justice to be served.
He also urged efforts to help Lebanon emerge from its crises and to "achieve peace in the Middle East, ending the war that threatens the countries and peoples of the region in Israel, Lebanon and Syria."
Furthermore, he paid tribute to newly beatified Lebanese Patriarch Estephan Douaihy.
