Beirut Chants El-Sistema organized a concert on Tuesday at Saint Vartan Church in Bourj Hammoud, featuring over 75 choristers and musicians accompanied by their teachers. The aim: to prevent radicalization, terrorism and cybercrime, and build a culture of peace through music.
Bourj Hammoud was chosen because of the cultural, ethnic and religious diversity of this densely populated and highly urbanized region.
