The Council of Ministers issued on Monday an administrative memorandum declaring a national mourning following the death of the President of the Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi.
The memorandum stated that flags are to be flown at half-mast in all public administrations and municipalities for the next three days. Media stations are also to adjust their regular programming according to the event.
Raisi was killed in a helicopter crash found on Monday morning, alongside three other Iranian officials, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
