Southern Front: Hezbollah Official Killed in Israeli Morning Raid
An Israeli drone strike hit a car on the Abou el-Assouad road opposite Nabi Sari in the Tyre district on Tuesday morning, killing Hezbollah activist Hussein Ali Azkoul, code-named Abou Ali, an engineer with the group’s "air defense unit.”

It was not until midday that the Shiite group announced the identity of the victim of the morning raid. The pan-Arab media outlet Al-Hadath initially reported that the victim was a Palestinian man, given the proximity of the raid to the Palestinian camp of Zahrani.

But the Israeli army's Arabic-speaking spokesman, Avichay Adrae, quoted by Sky News, announced that it was a senior Hezbollah officer, a member of an air unit, who was killed in the raid, without giving a name.

Adrae also announced, on his X account, that Israeli fighter jets carried out an attack during the night of Monday to Tuesday on a military building belonging to Hezbollah in Yaroun and four other infrastructures belonging of the party.

Israeli artillery also bombarded the outskirts of Tyre, Teir Harfa and Alma el-Chaab, while reconnaissance drones flew over villages in the western and central sectors, as well as villages in the Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts.

Throughout the night, the Israeli army launched flare bombs over the same area, reaching the outskirts of the city of Tyre. At dawn, heavy weapons were also fired in the direction of Naqoura and Labbouneh.

At around 1 a.m. on Tuesday morning, the Israeli air force carried out three successive attacks on the town of Yaroun in the Bint Jbeil district. It also targeted the area between Al-Mahmoudiyé and Aaïchiyé as well as Jabour and Abou Rachid.

Later on, Tuesday, Hezbollah released a video showing an attack targeting Israeli army spy equipment in Wazzani and Hanita.
