Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes shortly after midnight, targeting several towns in southern Lebanon. The attacks caused extensive damage to the targeted areas' homes, properties and crops.

The towns of Naqoura, Jabal al-Labbouneh, Alma al-Shaab, Tayr Harfa and Yarine in the western sector were among those hit in the initial wave of airstrikes. Additionally, the outskirts of Aita al-Shaab came under direct artillery fire during the evening.

At dawn, further raids struck the towns of Qantara, Deir Saryan and areas near Wadi al-Salouki. A house in Qantara was targeted, resulting in the death of three young men. As such, the Amal movement issued a statement mourning Ali Hassan Issa, Mohammad Hussein Saeed and Qassem Nizar Brou. Hezbollah also announced the death of two of its fighters, Mohammad Ali Darwiche (Mahdi) and Moustapha Khodr Qassir (Haydar el-Karrar) without further details.

Additionally, Israeli warplanes targeted Deir Saryan-Taybeh and the area between Qantara and Kabrikha. In the morning, they trageted the perimeter of Rachaya el-Fukhar, Kfar Hamam, Hebbarieh and Bint Jbeil. An Israeli missile fell near the local mosque in this town, without exploding.

Israeli reconnaissance aircraft remained active over villages in the western and central sectors, flying up to the Litani River. The Israeli army continued to launch flares over border villages adjacent to the Blue Line.
