- Hezbollah Says Targeted Israeli Warship With Cruise Missile, As Israel Strikes Beirut

In a statement, Iran-backed Hezbollah said it targeted an Israel vessel 68 nautical miles off the Lebanese coast with a cruise missile, claiming the warship was "preparing to launch attacks on Lebanese territory.” It is the first time the group has made a claim of this kind since the start of this round of fighting on March 2.
The Israeli military told AFP when contacted: "We are not aware of it."
Israeli warships have been used on several recent occasions to launch strikes on Lebanon.
Hezbollah has been waging a disinformation campaign on various social media platforms during this conflict and prior, exaggerating military successes and downplaying setbacks.
Israel Strikes Beirut’s Southern Suburbs
The IDF issued evacuation orders for Beirut’s southern suburbs today, saying it was targetting Hezbollah infrastructure sites in Beirut, partiuclarly a building in Ghobeiry near Bir Hassan–Jnah labeled as a Hezbollah facility, which was later struck accoring to Lebanon’s state media.
In a separate live-updates item, the IDF said it struck a command center and a Radwan Force training compound in the southern suburbs, and said advance warnings and precision munitions were used. Later a large strike targetted the neighborhood of Jnah, also in the southern suburbs. In total, local media confirms seven strikes on the southern suburbs today and a number of mock raids.
