A strike on a residential building in Nabatiyeh has resulted in a staggering toll, leaving eight individuals dead and at least seven injured, according to the latest toll. The search for missing people is still ongoing.
Seven members of the Barjawi family were killed in the strike last night in the city of Nabatiyeh when an Israeli drone targeted a residential apartment belonging to the family in the city center with a guided missile.
Emergency services, including ambulance teams from various organizations such as the Civil Defense, the Islamic Health Authority, and the Red Cross, have been working in the affected area throughout the night and into the morning.
As such, ambulance and relief teams managed shortly after midnight to pull the child, Hussein Ali Amer, from the rubble alive after more than 4 hours of searching for survivors.
It is important to note that the raid caused damage to the 3-story building, including the targeted apartment, and the building is in danger of collapsing. Neighboring buildings, cars parked on the road, electricity, and telephone networks were also damaged.
