Southern Lebanon: Israel Targets Wazzani Water Station
The cross-border exchange of fire between the Israeli army and Hezbollah has taken another toll. The escalation in the field widened as Israel targeted a public building for the first time. The Wazzani water pumping station was hit by the Israeli army in the Wazzani plain at dawn on Wednesday.

A loud explosion was heard early on Wednesday morning in Beirut and the southern suburbs. Preliminary information indicates that it was the result of a mock Israeli attack from the sea, which is why it was heard strongly in all coastal areas.

Moreover, the Israeli army targeted the outskirts of the town of Bani Hayan during the night, resulting in material damage to properties. Heavy damage was inflicted on the electricity and water networks, as well as main and side roads, in villages and towns adjacent to the Blue Line.

Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flew overnight over the villages of the western and central sectors, reaching deeper to the outskirts of the city of Tyre. They also fired flare bombs over the western and central sectors.

The Israeli army also carried out a series of airstrikes yesterday afternoon on the outskirts of the towns of Naqoura, Yarine, Al-Jabbin, Dhayra, Aita al-Shaab and Bayt Lif.
