ISF Launches Awareness Campaign Against Drunk Driving Ahead of NYE
The Internal Security Forces (ISF), in cooperation with the Syndicate of Owners of Restaurants, Cafés, Night-Clubs and Pastries in Lebanon, launched an awareness campaign on Thursday against "the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol," ahead of New Year’s Eve.

In a statement, the General Directorate of the ISF indicated that its agents have "started distributing coasters, A3 posters and stickers in restaurants, bars and nightlife venues, as well as brochures on the roads. These brochures include a QR code containing information aimed at raising awareness among drivers about the dangers of driving under the influence."

"On New Year's Eve, security forces will set up checkpoints to monitor drivers and conduct alcohol tests. Arrest warrants will also be issued against offenders, and their vehicles will be seized," the statement further noted.
