Exchanges between Israel and Hezbollah once again escalated on Thursday throughout the afternoon, following a precarious calm that prevailed in the morning along the border.

It is practically the same sectors and villages that are being repeatedly targeted: Aita al-Shaab, Aitaroun, Salhani, Ramya, Marwahin, Debel, Hanin, Hula, Yater, Jebbin, Chehin and Majdal Zoun. In Aita al-Shaab, Israeli strikes target residential areas.
In Ainata, a family miraculously escaped a strike, as the shell dropped by an Israeli drone did not explode.
Israeli military radio announced that Tel Aviv's air force had launched a preemptive attack in southern Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah's infrastructure.
According to Israeli media, air defenses had intercepted a drone launched by Hezbollah from the southern border of Lebanon.
Alarm sirens sounded in Jephthe, Ramot Naftali, al-Malikiya and Dishon in the Upper Galilee after an alert about a drone infiltration.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted the site of al-Samaqa in the Shebaa Farms "with appropriate weapons," the Hounin barracks and another Israeli military position in an area known as Kherbet Maer.
In the evening, he urged residents of border villages to disconnect their surveillance cameras from the Internet, explaining that the Israelis had managed to hack into them and gain access to their data.
"The enemy recently hacked into civilian cameras connected to the Internet and installed in front of houses, shops and institutions in frontline villages," Hezbollah said in a statement.
The pro-Iranian movement accuses Israel of using the images to target its fighters.
