South Lebanon: Intensified Exchanges of Fire
The exchanges of fire between Hezbollah and the Israeli army intensified on Saturday afternoon in the border areas of southern Lebanon. In the evening, an Israeli shell hit a watchtower for the Spanish battalion in UNIFIL in Ebel al-Qamh.

Hezbollah issued several statements claiming responsibility for attacks on various Israeli targets, including positions in the Shebaa Farms, infantry units in Ramya, Metula and Roueisset el-Assi, positions in Baghdadi, Sammaka, Birkat Risha, Jal al-Alam and Hamra, as well as the naval position in Ras al-Naqoura and the 91st Division headquarters in the Branit barracks.

According to the Israeli media, missiles were launched from Lebanon towards northern Israel, in the direction of Mount Dov and the village of Manara.

In response, the Israeli army bombed the Ras al-Naqoura and Labbouneh regions, as well as a Hezbollah base in Lebanon.

On the Lebanese side, Israeli bombardments targeted Hula, Blida, Taybeh, Odaisseh, Bani Hayan, Rab el-Talatin, Aitaroun, Tayr Harfa, Khiam, Owaida, Wadi Hamoul, Wadi al-Slouqi, Fraydis, al-Hafour (between Maroun al-Ras and Yaroun), Tall Nahas, Tallet Hamames, Tallet al-Awida (between Kfar Kila and Odaisseh), as well as the Marjayoun valley and the woods and olive groves between al-Hebbariyeh and Kfar Hamam.

In addition, the Israeli army patrolled the perimeter of the al-Assi base towards the Kroum al-Chraqi area, east of Mays al-Jabal, as well as the eastern outskirts of Blida, using medium machine guns.

It should be noted that homes in Mays al-Jabal were targeted by Israeli shelling in the early evening.
