The Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief General Joseph Aoun held several meetings in his office in Yarzeh on Wednesday.
He met with the US Ambassador to Lebanon, Dorothy Shea, and the Brazilian Ambassador to Lebanon, Tarcísio Costa, in the presence of the military attaché, Colonel Emerson Afonso Costa.
He then met with the UNDP Resident Representative, Melanie Hauenstein, with whom he discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the recent developments on the southern border.
Aoun also met with the President of the Maronite General Council, Michel Matta, and the accompanying delegation, with whom he discussed various matters.
