The toll from Friday’s Israeli bombardment on the southern suburbs of Beirut rose to 50 on Sunday.

The Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health had declared earlier that 45 people had been killed. 5 bodies have been recovered since.

Meanwhile, search and rescue teams, ambulance services, and civil defense personnel are working nonstop to clear debris and locate anyone who has not yet been found.

The Ministry of Health emphasized in a statement released earlier today that DNA samples are being extracted from the bodies of unidentified individuals.
