Clashes continued unabated in South Lebanon on Tuesday afternoon.

An interceptor missile exploded over Mays al-Jabal, followed by recurrent low-level flights over Tyre and the surrounding area. An Israeli drone targeted an unoccupied house in Odaisseh, which caught fire. Phosphorus shells were also fired on the outskirts of Naqoura, as were bombing raids on Aita al-Shaab.

The Israeli army spokesman declared that Hezbollah is dragging Lebanon into an unnecessary war for the benefit of Hamas, stating, “Hezbollah is seeking to escalate the situation despite the unwanted destruction it may inflict on the Lebanese people.”

Hezbollah announced the death of four of its fighters.

Israeli media reported that the strike on the car in Khirbet Selm today killed the head of Hezbollah’s drone unit, Ali Hussein Bourgi. The Israeli army spokesperson confirmed it later on. However, according to information obtained by This is Beirut, Hezbollah denies that this fighter had a high-level military position.

The Israelis also announced that they activated air defenses over the town of Safad. Hezbollah stated that it targeted the headquarters of the northern zone in the town of Safad (Dadu base) with several drones. It also announced that it hit the al-Baghdadi site with missiles, as well as the Yiftah barracks and the Hanit, Edmit and Rweissat al-Qarn sites.

Hezbollah’s press service published information on the Dadu base, indicating that it houses a large number of command and control systems involved in coordinating operations along the border with Lebanon. “The Dadu base is located 12 km deep from the Lebanese border.”

The Israeli army reported “minor damage to the army’s Northern Command headquarters in Safad following the explosion of several explosive-laden drones.”

The pro-Iranian party also announced late on Tuesday afternoon that it bombed the new spy facilities on the Bayad Blida site and saw them be “directly hit.”

Alarm sirens sounded in the Galilee due to the possibility of drones from Lebanon. Alarms were triggered in Dishon, Yiftah, Malkiya, Mevot Hermon and Ramot Naftali. Later, Israeli media reported the explosion of a Hezbollah drone in the Upper Galilee, with no casualties.

A drone also exploded over Kiryat Shmona in the Upper Galilee.
