A judicial decision has been issued by the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Cassation, appointing a judicial custodian for the three companies managing the Zaarour tourist project. In detail, Michel el-Murr and Carl el-Murr filed a criminal complaint several months ago through their lawyer, Marc Habka, against Carol and Jihad Gabriel el-Murr, alleging embezzlement and mismanagement of the Zaarour tourist project.

Experts appointed by the court presented several reports confirming irregularities in the project’s accounts and poor management due to the frequent absence of Carol Murr from the project, despite her presumed role as CEO as indicated in the aforementioned reports. Experts also presented suspicions of criminal offenses, leading to the suspension of Carol Gabriel Murr from her duties. Judicial custodians were appointed to replace her.

When communicating with lawyer Marc Habka to obtain clarifications on this decision, he confirmed his intention not to make any comments due to the ongoing investigation’s confidentiality and assured that the complete truth would eventually emerge under the supervision of the justice overseeing the investigation.
